The Inconvenient Truth about The Inconvenient Truth is that it is all malarky. The earth’s temperatures haven’t changed in more than 10 years, and those changes were a normal cycle. At one time there were trees as large as Sequoias were growing in the artic circle, this wouldn’t have happened without warm temperatures hundreds of years ago. Millions of years ago we had dinosaurs 20 and 30 feet tall, reptiles require warm temperatures to grow that size. The fact is, we are coming out of an ice age right now. We are not causing global warming with CO2. The increase in CO2 is caused by warming water releasing CO2 in a natural process from the oceans. An interesting fact that you won’t hear from global warming alarmists is that the increase in CO2 is causing plants to grow faster and larger. That means that the food crops are increasing as well. 31.000 scientists just signed a petition in Oregon decrying global warming, not something you will read in the left leaning media, but true non-the-less. And as far as the ice caps melting, this isn’t a totally new occurance. It happened in the 1890’s as well. Admiral Byrd reported sailing into the artic circle back then, Each time he went he recorded changes in the Arctic. He reported having to catch and eat different fish as the climate changed there and the types of fish available changed with the climate. So relax, the Philippines won’t be flooded by global warming, nobody will starve because of global warming and everything will be fine until the next big earth change. You would do well to quit reacting based on just emotion and start looking at real facts. The global warming crowd has an agenda, and that agenda is not in anyone’s best interest.
